This Privacy Policy explains how AIVIET Solution ("AIVIET", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use the PlayNow mobile application and the games available inside it (together, the "App").
AIVIET Solution is the data controller for the personal data described in this Policy. Our contact details are in section 15. Contact information of the data controller.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, notify you inside the App before the change takes effect. Please review this page periodically.
Please read this before you play: the App uploads your game scores to our servers and publishes them on public leaderboards.
Competing on leaderboards is a core feature of PlayNow. When you finish a game session, the following information is sent to our servers and can be seen by every other player:
These entries appear on the global leaderboard and on the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly rankings. Nothing else is published — your phone number, your email address and your device data are never shown to other players.
By installing the App and playing a game, you acknowledge this notice and agree that your scores may be uploaded and published in this way. If you do not agree, please do not play the games in the App.
You can opt out at any time. Email us at cskh@aivietsolution.vn with your display name or account ID and ask us to remove you from the leaderboards. We will delete your existing entries and stop publishing new ones. You can keep using the App normally afterwards.
Withdrawing your agreement does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out beforehand.
Choosing a display name is your decision — if you would rather not be identifiable to other players, please pick a nickname instead of your real name.
When you use the App, we and our service providers automatically collect:
You can use the App as a guest, without providing any account data. In that case we create an anonymous guest account so that the App can work.
If you choose to sign in with a third-party service, that service sends us a limited set of profile data:
The App does not use Apple Game Center. We do not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, precise location or friend lists.
Where the EU/EEA and UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Creating and maintaining your account, letting you play games, and saving your progress, coins, missions and achievements | Account, profile, gameplay and device data | Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) |
| Publishing your score, display name and avatar on global and periodic leaderboards | Score, display name, avatar, account ID | Performance of a contract — leaderboards are a core feature of the App — and our legitimate interest in running a competitive game service (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). See the notice and the opt-out in section 1. |
| Processing in-app purchases and telecom packages, and preventing fraud or abuse | Purchase records, account and device data | Contract performance and legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) |
| Keeping the App secure and stable, fixing crashes and diagnosing errors | Log, device and crash data | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) |
| Measuring how the App is used so that we can improve it (aggregated analytics) | Gameplay, device and log data | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) |
| Responding to your support requests | Support and account data | Contract performance and legitimate interests |
| Sending push notifications about rewards, missions and events | Device push token and account data | Your consent, given through the system permission prompt (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) |
| Showing personalised advertising and measuring advertising performance | Advertising identifier, device and gameplay data | Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and, on iOS, the App Tracking Transparency permission) |
| Complying with legal obligations and responding to lawful requests | Any relevant data | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) |
If you do not consent to personalised advertising, you may still see advertising, but it will not be based on your interests or activity.
We keep personal data only for as long as it is necessary for the purposes described above:
We may keep data for longer where a legal obligation, a dispute or an ongoing investigation requires it.
Data is stored on servers operated by us and by our hosting providers. Access is limited to the staff and processors who need it in order to perform their tasks.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in the limited cases below.
The only third-party companies that receive personal data from the App are:
| Recipient | What they receive | Why | Their privacy policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd — Google Sign-In, Firebase, Google Analytics, Google AdMob, Google Tag Manager | Account identifier, device and log data, advertising identifier, gameplay events, crash reports | Authentication, analytics, crash reporting, push delivery and advertising | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Meta Platforms, Inc. / Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd — Facebook Login, Facebook SDK, Facebook Audience Network | Facebook ID and public profile data you authorise, device and advertising identifiers, app events | Facebook login, attribution and advertising | facebook.com/privacy/policy |
These companies are independent or joint controllers for the data they receive, and their own privacy policies also apply. We do not share your data with any other advertising or analytics network.
Apple and Google process your in-app purchases and deliver the App through their stores. They act as independent controllers for that payment and store data. Sign in with Apple is handled by Apple under its own privacy policy.
Your display name, avatar and score are visible to other players on the leaderboards, as described in the notice in section 1. No other data about you is shown to other players, and you can ask us to remove your entries at any time.
Hosting, telecommunications and customer-support providers acting on our instructions as data processors, under written contracts that restrict what they may do with the data.
We may disclose data to competent authorities, courts or advisers where we are legally required to do so, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, prevent fraud, or protect the safety of our users. If our business is sold or reorganised, data may be transferred to the acquirer, subject to this Policy.
Leaderboards in the App show, for each participating player, the display name, the avatar and the score achieved. Nothing else — no phone number, no email address, no device data — is ever displayed publicly.
The App may let you share an achievement, a score or an invitation to a social network such as Facebook, or through your device's share sheet. Sharing is always initiated by you. When you share, the receiving platform processes the shared content under its own privacy policy, and the content may become visible to that platform's users. Please check the privacy settings of that platform before sharing.
The App is rated 9+ and its content is suitable for users aged nine and above. The App is not directed at young children as a target audience, and it is not part of Apple's Kids Category.
We are based in Vietnam, and our partners Google and Meta operate globally. Your personal data may therefore be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, whose data protection laws may differ from those of your country.
Where personal data of EEA, UK or Swiss users is transferred outside those areas, the transfer is protected by an appropriate safeguard under Chapter V GDPR — normally the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses combined with additional technical and organisational measures, or an adequacy decision where one applies. You can request a copy of the relevant safeguard by writing to us at the address in section 15.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. These include encryption of traffic in transit (HTTPS/TLS), hashed password storage, bearer-token authentication with a limited lifetime, access control on our servers, and regular review of our systems.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your login credentials confidential and tell us immediately if you believe that your account has been compromised.
If you allow it, we send push notifications about rewards, missions, events and important service messages. Notifications are only sent after you accept the system permission prompt. You can turn them off at any time in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Notifications → PlayNow; Android: Settings → Apps → PlayNow → Notifications). Turning them off does not affect your ability to use the App.
We do not sell personal data for money, and we do not share personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising other than as described in section 5.1, and then only where you have consented. Under some laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, disclosing identifiers or usage data to an advertising partner can be treated as a "sale" or "sharing". California residents may opt out at any time by refusing the App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS, by turning on Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Personalised Ads (off) or the equivalent Android control under Settings → Google → Ads, or by emailing us at cskh@aivietsolution.vn. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal data of anyone under 16.
Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you have the right to:
We answer requests within one month. If a request is complex, we may extend that period by up to two further months and will tell you why.
We answer verifiable California requests within 45 days, extendable by a further 45 days where necessary. You may use an authorised agent, who must provide proof of authorisation.
Email cskh@aivietsolution.vn from the address linked to your account, or write to the postal address in section 15, and tell us which right you wish to exercise. To protect your privacy, we may ask you to confirm your identity — for example, by sending the request from the email address or phone number registered to your account, or by confirming your in-app account ID. Because some data is collected automatically and is not linked to a named individual, there are cases in which we cannot re-identify you; where that happens we will tell you, and we may be unable to act on the request.
You can request deletion of your account and the associated personal data at any time by emailing cskh@aivietsolution.vn with the subject "Delete my account", from the email address or with the phone number registered to your account. We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.
When we delete your account we remove your profile, gameplay history and leaderboard entries. We keep only the records that we are legally required to retain (for example purchase and tax records) and any data that has been irreversibly anonymised. Deletion is permanent — virtual coins, items and progress cannot be restored.
The controller responsible for your personal data is:
AIVIET SolutionIf you have any question, request or complaint about this Privacy Policy or about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first — we will do our best to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
